Tutoring

The Tutoring Center provides one-on-one reading and math tutoring by experienced Stratford Friends School teachers trained in multisensory instruction. Tutoring is offered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday beginning at 3:10 pm. Each student is assessed to determine his or her academic needs and an individualized program is developed to meet these needs.

Tutoring by experienced Stratford Friends School teachers is available for literacy and mathematics. Tutoring is offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays beginning at 3:10 p.m. We have 30-minute or 60-minute sessions available. Schedules are decided upon by the family and tutor.  

Please Note

This is not a supervised study hall. Tutoring is designed to provide students with specific instruction in the areas of literacy and mathematics.  

Fees

$85 per hour $42 per half hour for currently enrolled students. For students who are not currently enrolled at Stratford Friends, the cost is $100 per hour. Fees are payable directly to Stratford Friends School and must be presented to the tutor at the end of each session. For more information, please contact Corinne News at (610) 355-9580.
